A new addition to the garden

I thought I would celebrate the first day of winter by adding a fruit tree to my Autopot Hydro Garden.
I decided on a Dwarf Maderin and its planted in a single tray 12inch Hydro pot. I have about 10 mil of Per lite Mix on the bottom and I also added a little general slow release fertilizer just to support the roots on there way down to the supply base. I will keep you updated on its progress remember the 1st of June was plant day. This big 12 inch single hydrotray opens up a lot of great possibilities in growing Dwarf fruit trees in limited space areas or people that rent or plan to shift, very easy to take with you.

It is just hook up to my general supply line and not getting any special treatment.

Just for the record I have included what I use to feed my garden.
To reduce freight cost I buy Powered Nutrients and mix as follows 1 kg of A to 10 Lt's of water and the same with the 1Kg of B I now have 2x 10 liters of concentrate that will last me over six months at a normal rate of 5ml of A & B per liter of water in my tanks, in the hot weather I might run ever second refill on just straight water as it is mostly evaporation that is being used up and not nutrient.
A new mixed batch ready for usage.

And this is a sample of what you end up with.

The incredable SMART PUMP

I have just completed a beautification project at a local School that was ideal for the Autopot Smart pump
This incredible unit which is a freestanding 12 volt system that is very simple to set up, has enormous capabilities such as providing water and nutrient up to 10 Kilometers and to a rise of around 20 feet. As this project was a 100 meter walkway to do it as a gravity feed would have required a tank to be placed high up on the roof posing a challenge to replenish and being a school we need to think about the holiday periods and who was going to service it and keep an eye on supply.
The Smart Pump is connected direct to the rain water supply and automatically distributes the required nutrient supply from containers that will last many weeks so holidays will not be a worry just the occasional check to make sure all is well. This unit due to its capability's allows the School to plan any expansion they may desire in the future such as a vegetable garden as well as servicing existing garden beds making them almost maintenance free and drought resistant and at the same time being extremely water wise by the use of the Smart Valve Plant Driven System.
If I was planning a new Garden or landscaping a new property I would be planning the complete garden around the Autopot System supported by the incredible Smart Pump unit giving me total worry free gardening  producing the ultimate in growth with the most efficient use of my water supply.

And most importantly I can go away for weekends or holidays and always come home to the same garden I had on leaving not a dried up withered patch that normally happens.

The feed line had to pass up along this big RJ back to the Rain Tank.

The Smart Pump placed at the Rain Water Tank.

A total of 18 baskets one at each support.

Going Mobile

I have always felt people need to see things to understand and believe in them more fully, so for sum time now I have been planning a mobile display unit that people could actually see the incredible result that are the norm with the Autopot System. At long last I have completed the project and had my first shake down in the back yard to see what needs to be changed, I am please to say is very little.
Besides the live plant and product display I run a PowerPoint presentation on the built in theater with an array of growth results and product features. The live display is all hooked up to a gravity feeding line so I can be at a nursery or such for as long as I like and nothing suffers. I just need to have an ongoing supply of display plants that are not to big that can stand traveling, as it all packs away inside the trailer.

Flower Power

You may remember I planted on the 17th March a window box with Pink Craze Petunia that's over 7 weeks and they are still flowering strong.

Also take a look at my hanging baskets with cascading Petunias.

Here you can see 3 variety's of Tomato. I should be able to produce fruit all year round with a bit of luck.

middle and a variety called Tomato pot on the right which is a dwarf.

Living with the Autopot System

This is an example of the produce you to could be enjoying when you become a HYDRO GARDENER with the Autopot system.
This is just one of a dozen or more Cucumbers that are growing in only a 6 inch pot. This is a Burp less variety that have a wonderful crisp fresh flavor.
This one weights just on 2lb. or 900 grams and is 500 ml in length. We make a lovely Cucumber relish which you can see in this photo.
